Dr. Dawson Church, Ph.D.

"What a joy!  Thank you for having the vision, Michelle, and making it happen." - Energy Medicine Expert & Author, Dr. Dawson Church
Dr. Dawson Church, Ph.D. comes from a long lineage of "greats."  Dawson is the great, great, great, great grandson of the Prince of Wales, King George the III. He immigrated from Britain to the US in 1977 after going on several missionaries with his father, Rev Peter Church, a missionary evangelist.  Dawson was schooled in both the United States and Southern Africa and has said, “I have grown up as a citizen of the world, making my home in the United States but feeling a kinship with human beings everywhere.”

As a child, Dawson describes himself as being an alienated teen, a confirmed atheist, disillusioned by the hypocrisy that he  saw at every level of the church. Then at 15, he became aware again of a loving presence of the universe, and his life since then has been dedicated to helping others to live a richly blessed and inspired life.

After earning his Master’s at Baylor University, Dawson became intrigued with yogi’s who could attain rapid healing abilities and QUICK fixes, so he obtained a doctorate in Integrative Healthcare at Holos University under the mentorship of the prestiged Dr. Norm Shealy and has since edited or authored over 200 books in the fields of health, psychology, and spirituality– as well as his newest best health book award, The Genie in your Genes - Epigenetic Medicine and the New Biology of Intention which speaks of consciousness and how it can trigger the expression of our DNA  -- because as Dawson says, the bulk of our genes are not given to us at birth but rather are created as we react to our life taking place.

As the founder of Soul Medicine Institute, a non profit organization dedicated to research, education, and therapies that link consciousness with healing through Medicine and Energy Psychology, Dawson is a man of many layers… He not only has a passion for antique cars, learned to paint when he was 45 - immersing himself in watercolors like a duck does to water -, and can make a mean gumbo, he is also the father of three beautiful children, whom he describes as “living poetry.”  © 2010 Soul-Felt Words, Inc.
